Dr. Leslie Westerlund PhD,MEnvSc(Hons),BSc(Hons),DipIrid,IPA.
Leslie is demonstrating his research in a new method of creating an environmentally friendly handmade paper that is both smooth and textured.
Leslie would like to help developing countries use this new technology to help empower local community groups to make a high quality paper, calligraphy paper, art paper; printers paper that can be value added into cards, certificates, gift sets, books, diaries, wedding invitations, business cards, name cards and stationery lines.
An A3plus is made then smaller sheets cut to size:(A3plus=(35x45cm); A3=(30x42cm); A4= (21.0x29.7cm=8.25x11.75inch); A5=(15x21cm); and envelopes; or to your order).

The Mission

The mission statement is to create a environmentally friendly and sustainable business based on all the good scientific and environmental principles that can be promoted.
reuse of waste paper, lint, cotton;
to features of flowers (grown in the village);
to reuse of (existing colours + chemicals);
to reusing water many times in production;
to free solar heating of pulp water;
to "sustainable turnkey approach" (STA) and Five Phases of Sustainable Technology Transfer" to make equipment (hardware) and teach skills (software) in developing countries;
to mechanical hydraulic press of 100 tonnes/sqm;
to free solar energy in drying paper;
to composting waste pulp for the garden;
to traditional die-cutting of paper shapes;
to printing using modern colour printers/ photocopiers / calligraphy /art;
to encouraging skilled people to rediscover a craftsmanship in papermaking.
To make limited edition books and cultural heritage stories to preserve village culture and language.

Leslie is needing grants to initiate projects in (YOUR COUNTRY), Fiji, South Africa, South America, New Zealand and Australia. One hundred thousand dollars will start to change ten tonnes of waste paper into one million sheets of Leslie's special paper; employ several people and save the environment.
